I have learned very much
regarding this class with my knowledge continually expanding along with my
desire to always wanting to thrive for more with my knowledge of grammar and
punctuation slowly improving. I have learned much about commas, periods and
diction. In learning these topics, I realized how one simple word could make a
significant difference in a sentence or story. Also, I learned that
proof-reading and proper pronunciation of a sentence could make a strong effect
on a paragraph’s structure.
Over the past several
weeks, I have learned that writing is not an easy task. Patience is necessary
because it helps the reader slowly manage grammar, which can make a big
difference in changing the outcome of the established story. Before taking this
course, I used to type just to type and not give much thought onto what I had
typed on paper because I was freely expressing myself. As time progressed
throughout the semester, I learned that grammar and proper sentence structure
could help create an effective and coherent essay which can be told multiple
times with consistency. After looking back, I still have as much to learn as
any other classmate because the power of knowledge is vast when it comes to proper
grammar in the English language.
